My love and singing the praises of that bait is probably why several members on here are also believers in it.

 

Nothing about it has a dull action. It's a very lively bait with a lot of darting action and a loud single knocker.

Gonna have to get a few of them to try out. Duo makes awesome baits but I've never used a Rozante.

They only make one version of the Rozante to my knowledge. 2 sizes, but haven't ever heard of anything other than the 63 and 77sp.

Depends on the season. Warm water mostly fast and erratic, cold water 5-10 second hold and light twitches with slow pulls. One thing to note; mine have always tended to rise rather than suspend which is fine if you're fishing them fast. I tune mine with slightly larger or extra split rings. I try to avoid changing hooks since the baits have such a good action. What really helps me is their castability since I'm a bank fisherman.

What makes the Rozante 77 stand out is the action. 

 

If there was ever a twitch bait that could illicit a response from fish it would be this one.  I'm surprised more companies didn't reverse engineer their own version of this one much they knocked off the vision 110.   Even if the fish are weary they'll usually take a defensive or territorial swipe at this lure.  Underwater it has erratic side to side quick action and allot of times I'll hook the fish on the side of the body.  

 

It dances like a knuckleball.   That it runs shallow is a bonus.  There 3 lures I always have tied on that never misses.  Vision jr in pearl.  OSP Bent minnow 86f.  Duo Realis 77 sp in neo pearl.  

 

Arguably the best 3 search baits around.

Lures (and other things) get knocked off based on sales and price, not effectiveness, the 77 is half the price of a 110, and no where near as popular, even so Ali has some for under $4...

The KO's are hit or miss. I've had some really good ones, and some really bad ones. I only fish a couple colors anyways so I went back to ordering the originals. I bet I have 2 dozen of them at least, with another dozen NIP in my garage. 

 

I was already a big believer in them before this, but this really solidified my love for the bait.

Haha, I was getting nervous even knowing that he was going to catch the fish.   

 

I would have been wigging out, BlueBasser86 is a much calmer person than I am ?

 

eta:   I LOVE LOVE that adrenaline dump moment right after you release that big fish and have a moment to collect your thoughts.    You have to sit down or bend over and grab your knees like that every time.    That's how you know you are doing what you were meant to do on this earth.

Maybe it’s just the 63 size, they definitely make it though, it’s on the hookup tackle so that may be the only place it’s even really available in the US.

Actually got the pointer 65 knock offs and a ton of little trout baits. Some duo 38/45 trout baits and some mega bass great hunting knock offs. It was only 50 bucks for about 25 baits and as long as they wobble when I crank them in they should work for trout, plus my fiancé loves little crankbaits but man can she break them off, crack the bill, and sometimes even just explode the whole dang bait into about 50 pieces ?

Owner Cultiva Rip ‘N Minnow 65, 2 1/2”, runs about 4’, 70, 3”, runs about 5’.

Daiwa TD Minnow SP 95, 3 1/2”, runs about 5’ deep.

All above have 2 treble hooks.

Silver/blue and Olive Ghost have been great producers.  I’ve use the 8 and the 10.

I’ve been using Rogue Jr. and husky jerk 8 and 10.  I think I have some Berkeley cutter 90s left too.  The Cultiva, since I already have a few, will be next addition.  I like the KVD jerkbaits, but don’t think the 100 gets deep enough.

They make a deep running shad and MR Rozante shad. I've fished them as well. I use them more like a suspending shad rap with a pull and pause retrieve. I liked the bigger shad better which is no longer available.
