my wifes EV is in for service.  she is a sweet talker, and they were either gonna give her $100 Uber credits for each day, or a loaner car.  she got the loaner.  i went with her to drop it off because it is near a ShakeShack burger joint.  a rare and distant treat.,

the loaner looks and drives just like her's.  but.  there is a problem.  it smells like bad cologne.  bad cologne covering the unmistakable stench of garden variety BO.  WOW!  dispite winter, we drove home with jackets zipped up and windows down.  at home i wiped down the interior and vacumned.  i am tempted to let my dog get in and wet him down.

i think my wife is going solo to get her car back.  she is driving me to work everyday, since my truck is also in the shop and i CAN STILL SMELL it. it is in my clothing, my nose hairs.  FAAACKKCK.  if she makes me go with her, i will tell the person we return the car to ..."that is not us".

hhahah.,.

i think the person(s) that invented all those body sprays need a kick in the leg joints.  hard.

@herder you beat me to it.  There is an episode of Seinfeld where the valet guy has such bad BO that Jerry ends up trying to clean it, sell, and have someone car jack it.

George: "This isn't BO.  This is BBO.  Beyond BO."

I have a company truck. My first few years I’d get hand me downs. Those were the absolute worst! From cigarette smoke film all over everything, smells my nose has never smelled before, to trash everywhere!

I paid my dues and thankfully get a brand new truck every 2-3 years so my trucks are mine and only mine now.

We rented some piece of junk in the Florida keys and me and my brother were fishing with frozen shrimp at every place we could find. We even rented some kayaks and apparently sat in shrimp juice the whole time we were fishing. We filleted some fish and took them home a few times as well. The day we went to turn that car in, it stunk worse than the downstream end of a hot dog factory. I tore it apart looking for a shrimp or fish fillet and I never found anything. I mean completely tore it apart. The rental company added a $75 dollar fee for stank and we felt like that was reasonable because I couldn’t find whatever it was hahaha

A skunk doesn’t smell it’s own stench, so I don’t stink, just ask me. ?

LOL. That sounds like the juices got on the carpeting. Throwing a bunker (menhaden) under the passenger seat in the summer was a thing when we were young, that aroma will linger forever.

? That’s all we could come up with, probably sitting in a kayak full of shrimp juice all day, and then driving the car
