i've got a small basstender bass boat and am considering buying one. anybody on here know anything about them? would like to use both hands fishing so my wife doesn't outfish me all the time.

Have you tried leaving her at home?  That works some of the time.

Anyhow, I believe there are/were a good number of people highly into customizing this type of boat- winter would be a good time to get in touch with them...so essentially this is just a bump.

thanks for the reply. don't know if this is something that has just came out or what but i'm not getting any answers here. i think i posted it in the wrong place tho. and maybe everybody's probably got a boat big enough for the normal foot control motors.

I've read about these pro control units that turn a hand control trolling motor into a foot control one.  I've been to their web site and it seems like a good idea that should work.

I've never seen one - in a fishing tackle store or at Bass Pro or at Cabelas, or at a boat dealer or at a sport show.  I think they are having some issues getting this thing to market.

If you really want one, go to their web site and get a phone#, and call them up.   I know several people who think this is a good idea, but I don't know anyone who has one or who has even seen one.
