Is anyone familiar with replacing carpeting in a champion? It's pulling off the boat and rotted in a few places. Is it hard to re carpet it yourself?

You should try to search this, I remember someone put up a lot of info and pix before. It doesn't seem to be too hard, just have to take your time. I hope to do mine soon.

I have done it more than once. I'd not want to do it this tme of year because of the cold weather, heaters, and fumes.

To get the old carpet off you can use lacquer thinner.

Like stated above, do some research before you jump in.  A commercial job would run you about a grand.

I have done my Skeeter twice. It's a job, but very rewarding when you see the finished product. Make sure you use a compatible glue, good carpet, and you will have a finished product to be proud of.

Good luck.

Thanks guys. Do you guys know anything about a power pack for a 1996 mariner 200? I think we need to replace it on our motor. When we crank the motor I will press the hot foot all the way down and it will barely do anything. It will finally kick in after awhile but it takes awhile

Explain that to my dad. He thinks getting it looked at is more expensive.

How much will it be to get the motor looked at? I'm going to probably have to pay for it.

I had a guy look at mine, he set all the timing and put new plugs in for $100, i was expecting it to be more. Just ask for an estimate.

Ok if its around that price I can afford. The hard part is going to be to convince my dad that it is that cheap. He thought it was about 500

You could probably offer the guy a few bucks just to look at it and not do any work unless you want it done. make some phone calls to get a price.
