5+ is the max they ever list. Once it gets under 5, it'll say 4, 3 etc. But it'll never say more than 5+. So 5+ could mean 5, it could mean 30.

Lol, thought that meant less then ten. Because I’ve ordered rods that have said 4 and 3.

Dang I’ve been eyeballing the 6’10” medium and the stock never went down from 5+ so I thought I was safe. They’re all gone now…I already have a 7’2” MHB and don’t need the 7’2” MHA but it’s hard to pass up for 200. Help ?

As I said above, I thought 5+ meant less then ten. Because I’ve lost out on the 7’2” mh thinking I can wait till the end of the day. When I get out of work. I jumped on it as soon as I saw this thread this time. That was Thursday. There was still stock Saturday night. Go figure.

This thread has me interested in getting one. I was eyeing the 7’2 MH as well, seems like a great deal. Maybe one of you guys will buy it, hate it, and dump it on the flea market for me ? for a steal!

The only thing that stopped me was hearing that the new Expride B are slightly more sensitive.

If I didn’t already have double of all the MH rods, I would have snapped this up just to see what all the expride love was about. Doesn’t seems like there is any better 200 dollar medium heavy rod out there now.

I really like watching the Punchfishing videos but one warning for the yak fisherman. Since I fish from a yak and have purchased several rods that Punch recommends

I think I have to adjust all his recommendation and get one power higher. If he says the Daemos and the expride are similar, then I think the expride can barely do Texas rig and bottom contact. The Daemos cannot do bottom contact for me at all, doesn’t have enough power to set the hook through plastics.

Thought about that too with the B model being more sensitive. I don’t know how much more it really is. The A model has way more reviews and user experience to pull from to help inform me while the B while has good reviews I keep seeing people saying they fish 1 power heavier than rated and I didn’t want a pool cue for a MH. Also saving $80-$90 was kinda nice
