I've been doing a little fishing recently, all bank fishing at local ponds.  But I'd like to get myself a couple of nice setups.  After doing some reading, I'm thinking a MF spinning setup, and a MHF baitcaster.

I do some business with a distributor where I can pick up Daiwa gear at wholesale, so I'm sticking with that.  My first thought is Tatula rods and a Tatula 2500 spinning reel.  But I'm clueless on baitcasting reels.  A Tatula or Zillion?  But no idea which model.  This will be my first experience with a baitcaster in 20 years, FWIW.

Would it be worth getting the SV model?

I've got a Zillion SV that I love.   I've got a Tatula SV too.  It's a good reel but I hate where the brake control is.  I accidently "adjust" it when I'm palming the reel.

Anybody mention the Zillion SVTW JDM??

There are maybe a handful of reels better than those reels, and they cost easily twice as much.
