dgkasper58 Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Someone a while back had a large composite list of jerkbait hook sizes along with their stock treble hook weights along with aftermarket treble hooks that were the same weight. I believe it was an excel spreadsheet- but may have been a post that I cannot find anymore. By any chance are you that person that had it or know what I am talking about? I promise to never lose it again if I can see it!!! Looking to do some maintenance this off season and I think I am going to have to replace quite a few hooks and wouldn't mind trying some different short shank EWG versions. TIA Quote
Super User casts_by_fly Posted December 5, 2022 Super User Posted December 5, 2022 You could try a bunch of different hooks. Or, you could buy a single hook brand/type and add some lead wire until you get what you want. Then you don't have to mess with trying a bunch of different things that may or may not work. Quote

Yeah, someone a while back put each hook on a digital scale and had some really good information compiled. Looking for that sheet/info don't want to go the route of suspend strips or wire just yet. dgkasper58 Posted December 5, 2022 Author Posted December 5, 2022 Thank you for this as I have not seen it. I do believe there still is a much larger version of this floating around but this should take care of what I need atleast! Thanks! Quote
