Elf, Home Alone, and after having just watched the Star Wars Holiday Special, I have to put that in the “must watch” category. Entertaining is an understatement.

Animal House

All the Police Squad movies

Hunt for Red October

Old James Bond movies

Not Christmas movies but all are extremely entertaining.

Animal House: "He can't do that to our pledges"

All the Police Squad movies: "Nice beaver"

Hunt for Red October: "One ping, and one ping only"

Old James Bond movies: "No Mr Bond, I expect you to die"

Not Christmas movies but all are extremely entertaining.

At the post office when I have to get a stamp I always say,"One stamp. One stamp only" like Sean Connery.

One time the guy behind me in line cracked up. We were the only ones in line and behind the counter that understood it.

my christmas season movie is crouching tiger, hidden dragon. i watch it at least 3 times a year, because it's the greatest movie ever put on film.

this was literally my driveway from july to the end of november.  the guy had 2 rooms upstairs, but lived in his van, in my driveway. not a camper.  a van.  i think i'm done renting out rooms for a while.

Another vote for Die Hard.

as a sheet metal worker, i always make jokes about die hard. the scene where he crawls through the ductwork is sooo not possible.  there's no screws poking through,  no turning vanes in the elbows, and no security bars.   there are no motor operated dampers, no fire dampers, no humidifiers , probes, or other equipment that would definitely be in there if it were duct in an airport. it's also not filthy inside, which it would definitely be irl

The Grinch. Or the one with Scrooge. They remind me of me this time of year.

Great Classics in no particular order:  Remember the Night; The Man Who Came To Dinner; Holiday Affair; Meet Me in St. Louis; The Shop Around the Corner.  They're not "must-sees" for me now because I've seen them many times.  Maybe one of them might become a "must-see" for you!

Forgot my big personal favorite - The Bishops Wife. That one is still a must-see. (Cary Grant, David Niven, Loretta Young, Elsa Lanchester, Gladys Cooper.)???
