FYI, I tried to rig my teeny torpedo in reverse without the propeller last night. It obviously didn't work, but I was curious to see what would happen. It runs the same forward as it does back, but it was worth a shot, and I guess I learned a little. Quote

I have been collecting Tiny Torpedos for some time. Many colors are discontinued. The orange crackle color is color code CBO. The best current bass color is the chrome with a black back. I believe the chrome surface reflects the surroundings making it nearly invisible. Bass hit this lure because of it's unique fleeing shad sound and action. They don't see it until it's too late. You must throw this lure on light line (4-8). Anything heavier kills the action. 1 Quote

A decent lure but not a great walker due to been so small and the line tie being on the bottom of the face. I guess with the physics, it just didn't work as well as its bigger brothers. Some of my favorite ultralight topwaters: Rapala ultralight popper Rebel teeny pop R AliExpress popper H2O Express walking lure. AliExpress walking lure. My favorite is the tiny AliExpress popper. Very inexpensive and can pop and walk very well. I throw it on 4 lbs mono around the shore and is a blast to fish. I have caught tons of bass and sunfish on it. Do you gut hook a lot of fish on these? I was fishing a 1/4 trap with sharp hooks and the bigger fish were almost always gut hooked. Quit throwing them because of that. Quote
Smells like fish Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I highly recommend this little 2 3/4” length $3 lure from Creme. It walks but it gets hit just at rest or with a tiny twitch. The view of its underside to the fish must be exactly like a small dying or distressed baitfish. Quote
