Rolf Marsh Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 I have some Nikko Winnow 95 swim baits that I bought a while ago when I was just starting out with plastic; they have a flat tail vertical on them, and came in a thin hard plastic container. I have taken all of my soft plastic baits and placed them in 4mil envelopes that most, if not all of the manufacturers are now using for shipping and storage and added some worm oil to each envelope. My question is: because the flat tail would not be vertical when stored, and actually be on the same plane as the body of the bait, would it be OK to still store them in the 4mil envelopes with a few drops of worm oil? It can work, but if they do get kinked, you can swirl them in a pot of water on a low boil. Just a few seconds at a time and always moving, they usually reset in one or two passes. I've only done it once but it worked great. I now keep them in their original packaging and keep the soft plastics in various mesh laundry bags. scott 2 Quote
SlabbyPatty Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 The boiling water method mentioned above works very well in my experience 1 Quote
