Super User clayton86 Posted November 25, 2022 Super User Posted November 25, 2022 What do y’all use to stream or listen to music? I currently use Pandora since my free Sirus/Xm expired that came with the new truck. I either have pandora playing or I buy music on iTunes and have several play lists depending on my mood but that can get expensive. I know a lot of people like Spotify and I’ve been thinking about downloading it. Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted November 25, 2022 Super User Posted November 25, 2022 I use to do Pandora - but moved to Spotify as it's easier to set up custom playlists and also search for new music. Quote

Super User Scott F Posted November 25, 2022 Super User Posted November 25, 2022 I paid for most of the music I listen to many years ago. I’ve copied my lp’s and digitized them so I can listen to only songs I like with no commercials, no monthly subscriptions and no need for Wi-Fi access. 1 Quote

I mainly use my Spotify to find new artists/albums...then buy the CD(s) and digitize them...music on my tablet or phone is 'local' played through Media Monkey. I currently have 3 'Banker's Boxes' filled with my CDs. Quote

volzfan59 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 I have Pandora and Spotify. Find myself listening to Spotify more and more. I still have a ton of cd's and vinyl, listen to them too. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted November 26, 2022 Global Moderator Posted November 26, 2022 I’m also Spotify premium. And I’m a cheapskate haha. it allows me to play music when I don’t have service, which is lots of places I camp and fish Quote
PressuredFishing Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 Only really use streaming for things like podcasts that change are new every day. if you have favorite songs just download them for free. Quote
Eric 26 Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 I’ve been lucky enough to be using Spotify since 2016. My oldest son got it as a Christmas present for his mom, me and his younger sister and brother. Although I know nothing about Pandora I enjoy when Spotify recommends artists based on what I’m listening to at the time. Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted November 29, 2022 Super User Posted November 29, 2022 I use Spotify but also have an ipod with overv10,000 tunes transferred from my cd collection Quote
