If weight isn’t an issue metal frame reels feel solid. Micro cut brass gears are smooth. Shimano Tranx 200 is solid as a rock and smooth. Several options that come down to your preference. Mine is IPT at the end of a long cast 50 yards or so, average around 40 yards. Lots of choice that only you can  choose.

Lew's bb1 pro hands down. I'm assuming you want a little more line capacity.

Nice reel, but my Zillion HD's outcast it, are smoother, and less finicky to dial in. Zillion is the clear cut winner for me.

I had the 2020 model. I don’t want to offend anyone, or sound like a Shimano fan boy who is just bashing Daiwa.  There wasn’t anything specific about it - it just felt like a cheap reel. If someone had put a $75 price tag on it with some new manufacture’s logo I would have thought “seems about right”.

Fair enough.  Hate is a strong word so I was just curious.  I had 2017 Tatula SVs and loved them until I got the Zillion SVs/HD.  Sold all of my Tat SVs to my fiend who loves them.

If you are interested in trying a Daiwa again, definitely go with the Zillion SV or HD or both.

Hate is a strong word, but it’s fitting for my thoughts on that reel.  :D  Maybe I just had a couple of bad reels.  90% of my casting reels are Shimano, but all of my spinning reels (except one) are Daiwa.

I forgot I do have a few other Daiwa casting reels. A couple have sat in my office because I simply didn’t have a need for them (the Elite P/F). I also have a couple of the Elite 100. I do like those.

I’m really interested in trying a Zillion. I need more friends that fish so I can try their stuff. ?
