I won't knock it because I haven't tried it but not sure I could honestly... It sounds challenging to say the least. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 25, 2022 Global Moderator Posted November 25, 2022 Oh man, the salty crunch on a PB&J when you add chips to it is *chef's kiss* That's country boy cuisine. 8 minutes ago, DitchPanda said: Yeah that sucks. I had today off but I gotta work 3-12s this weekend. I was doing Monday - Friday for about 9 months but I got asked to come back on shift in October since we are shorthanded and like a dummy I said yes. Had I been on that rotation still I'd have a 4 day weekend..but such is life. Good thing is tomorrow is a paid holiday for us so ill get 12hrs double pay and get to bank 8 hrs of pto. Come Christmas my crew works the entire weekend but ill get 24hrs double pay and 16 hrs pto for Xmas Eve and Christmas day. That softens the blow considerably. I've got to work 10pm-6am tomorrow night also, but they're paying me really well for it. Hard to turn it down. 3 Quote

I agree on the holiday pay thing...if they wanna pay me for 60 hrs for working 36 and give me 2 extra days off to bank I can justify missing holidays. 1 Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted November 25, 2022 Super User Posted November 25, 2022 My wife and I are the old people in our family now. Today, we had family from newborn up to 65 yrs old for dinner. I'm proud to be the " old people". 3 Quote

Typically the slowest day of the year for us. I'll watch TV and get paid to do it. 2 Quote
Junk Fisherman Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 My wife's 7th grade students refer to the 90s as the late 1900s. That one hits too close to home for me. Hooray old people! 1 Quote
