I'd say a Big Bite Baits Trick Stick or Yum Dinger 5"  rigged on a 4/0 EWG hook and a pegged bullet weight (1/4th oz. +) may be the best "get no respect" flipping bait going !

Looks like a great flipping bait.  Love the color. Back when I was actively fishing tournaments, my partner and I bought Gambler Craws 1,000 at a time.  We spend hours gluing glass rattles in the pincers.  It was worth the effort. ☺️

That tube craw is a bait that gets me so many big bites, and for some reason I fish it so sparingly.

Great baits, I used to fish Lake Fork Craw Tubes all the time but kind of got out of the habit. I need to pull them back out. I don't think Lake Fork makes them anymore though, have to go to the BBB version.

Big Bite Baits used to have a ribbed tube, which was my favorite. But the craw tube is an excellent runner-up.

Yum Vibra Tube is a really nice, bigger profile tube that is excellent for punching/flipping/pitching and seems to draw a bigger bite. Brian.

I thought it was a lake fork bait he posted...didn't know they didn't make them anymore.  I think LFT invented the craw tube.

Yeah the LFT craw tubes are the only ones i've ever used too but it's been years since I bought any. Apparently they haven't made them for quite some time though, I only saw one bag on ebay and they were $50.

Catt is 100% correct on this one.

This Gene Larew 4" Salt Craw in this exact color has been and still is my #1 producer rigged Texas style or as a jig trailer in the Atchafalaya Basin and freshwater marshes in South Louisiana for 30+ years. I also have had success in most of the other lakes and oxbows I frequent.

And I might add I never see anyone else using this.

I throw the 4"-5"-6" both as jig trailers & Texas Rigged.

In my opinion two the biggest mistakes Gene Larew made was discontinuing the Hawg Craws & Ringworms.

I'm in total agreement with this statement. I'm out of the Ringworms and down to my last few Hawg Craws. Wish Gene Larew was still producing these.
