Super User Darth-Baiter Posted November 21, 2022 Super User Posted November 21, 2022 I’m Californian. I’m in Texas and I figured I’d find a particular small batch tequila made in the “old ways”. No additives etc. dang it if the word isn’t out. I can’t find it. I’ll hit up a few New Mexico locations on the drive home but most store workers just laugh at me if I ask if there is any in stock. I’m not looking for Pappy’s !!! It’s a tequila! oh well. (I did buy a VERY GOOD fishing rod tho) Quote
Super User casts_by_fly Posted November 21, 2022 Super User Posted November 21, 2022 Do you have a specific brand/name you are looking for or just that type? Quote
Super User Darth-Baiter Posted November 21, 2022 Author Super User Posted November 21, 2022 I got a specific bottle I’m looking for. Quote

Junger Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Mezcal (and therefore Tequila as a subset) is the #1 fastest growing spirit/liquor in the US. One reason why it's hard to find some of the really good brands. Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted November 22, 2022 Super User Posted November 22, 2022 i am not a tequila fan but there were two times I had it where I really liked it. One was on isla mujeres with my uncle who lived in Cancun at the time and he pulled out some sipping tequila as he called it and the other was when I was living in El Paso climbing for 6 months or so and our neighbor was from ciudad juarez and he brought back some what I am guessing is the equivalent of mexican moonshine in a mason jar and that was delicious too. Other than that, not a an but I hope you find what you are looking for.... Quote
