1. One of my favourite rods has a full cork grip. The cork at the bottom of this rod had become chipped and worn from years of use. WRB recommended a furniture leg as a butt cap. It was inexpensive, fit perfectly, and looks like it was made for this rod.                                        2.Roboworms. I'd fished them for years, always in a grape or purple color. WRB recommended the color oxblood/ red flake, as a good clear water shade. Now, it's become one of my favourite colors, and has worked well.   3. Removing old grease. One of my projects was restoring a vintage Mitchell  308 reel. When I got the reel, the gearbox was full of old dried out grease. WRB said to use WD- 40. It works very well. Now the old reel is smooth and works as it should.              4. Lines. For years, I bought monofilament lines without much thought about diameter. I've branched out now and am using some co- poly lines on spinning gear. WRB has repeatedly said to learn to look at lines based on diameter, not pound test rating. This is important, especially on spinning reels. And again, this has been great advice, and, I'll be doing this with all the lines I buy moving forward.                        These are small things, and all have been proven, helpful, and 100% correct. I thought I would make this post as a thank you to WRB.       I respect your knowledge and experience Tom. Again, thank you.
