JustBassinThru Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Most of my Spinnerbaits are old Terminators and I'm unsure if they are the Titanium T-1 version or not. Is there a way to identify them? Quote
Super User Deleted account Posted November 13, 2022 Super User Posted November 13, 2022 The majority are T1s, (they also made a T2). It's a matter of identifying which version of the T1 you have, there is a big difference. I can tell the difference, but not sure I can type a coherent explanation of what to look for. The best way to tell is fish them hard, the good ones (other than the skirts) will be fine, and the bad ones will be in several pieces only some of which you may get back or not... 1 Quote
JustBassinThru Posted November 13, 2022 Author Posted November 13, 2022 Ok, thanks Deleted. Just was curious if there was anything obvious. I plan on fishing em' so time will tell. About all I threw when I was younger was spinnerbaits but have been trying so many other techniques I haven't fished them for years. Quote
Super User WRB Posted November 13, 2022 Super User Posted November 13, 2022 Titanium wire is usually a dull grey color, stainless steel bright and shinny. Try bending the wire over your thumb pad, titanium is stronger and springs right back, stainless bends easier and stays bent. Tom 1 Quote
JustBassinThru Posted November 14, 2022 Author Posted November 14, 2022 Thanks Tom. I just laid them out and will take a closer look. I appreciate your input. Quote
