Crow Horse Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 Will the Plano Stowaways be susceptible (bleeding) to JJ's Magic dyes if dyed plastics are stored in them? I've searched and drew a bank. Quote
scbassin Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 I use Spike it. & put the baits in Plano 3700 boxes & don't have any problem. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 2, 2022 Super User Posted November 2, 2022 The JJ's will stain the Plano boxes. Quote
Super User WRB Posted November 2, 2022 Super User Posted November 2, 2022 Dye continues to spread in soft plastics onto other soft plastics they touch. Put the dyed plastic in a separate zip lock bag. Tom 2 Quote
KP Duty Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 I'm with Tom...I'll put dyed baits in a separate bag. I've got some ziplock 'snack' bags that aren't as tall as the standard bags and work well for this. Quote

throttleplate Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Never put an original methylate color plastic in with other plastics as it will bleed onto the others. I now have pinkish flukes that were originally white. Quote
