Anyone use these rods, I am particularly interested in the Zolo Crank and Grind, both  full graphite  crankbait rods. I am also looking at two rods in the Enox series ,Hutch and Strike. I'm trying to decide if I want to experiment and try something from ALX or pick up another rod from Edge. Any feedback is appreciated.

Alex at ALX is the owner and easy to contact.

I had Alex build 3 custom jig & worm rods, excellent workmanship, performance, balance and light weight under 3.8 oz back in 2012.

Talk to Alex, his very honest and stands behind his products.

I would like their crank rod with a full handle grip, I will reach out to see if they can modify it with a full grip. Thanks for the info.

I have around 12 ALX rods and love them.  I have quite a few Zolos but unfortunately don’t have the Crank or Grind.  I use the Hustler for my cranks.

Like WBR suggested, contact Alex the owner with any question you may have.  I have asked him tons of questions before purchases and he has always been happy to help.  I’m sure I drove him nuts with all my questions,  but he super patient and informative each time.

I highly recommend their rods.  They are always overlooked because they are smaller company but they build amazing rods and Alex.

My friend/fishing partner buys any ALX rod I’m willing to sell no questions asked…haha.  He bought most of my IKOS when I transitioned to Zolos.

I don’t have an Enox rods yet but hopefully one day soon.

I only have one, an Enox Decoy.  Fantastic rod, build quality is great.

As the others said, call Alex.  He is great to talk to and has no problems building a rod the way YOU want it built, even if it's just modifying one in their regular lineup.

Thank you for the input. I pulled the trigger on the 7'10 Zolo Grind. It was 30% off from Tackle Trap, it's not full grip but the postive reviews and the discount gave the bait monkey no choice in the matter. Thanks again everyone.

I have the Enox LSB and the BMJ. Both are well built, light, and pretty sensitive sticks!  I also have an Ikos Thunder and Hustler, I use the Thunder for A-rigs and it works great!  The Hustler is one of the best squarebill rods i've used, it's by far my favorite of my ALX rods!

Zolo Dragger dug up a good one out of 18 feet yesterday on a 3/4 oz football jig.

dont they have a 3 rod deal sometime during the fall/winter? If you are planning to buy multiple and can wait it might be worth your while.

ALX usually has their 3 rod bundle sale starting sometime in November.  So might be right around the corner.
