I headed up to Blue Ridge for a week and I'm taking my boat. I see that the water temp is 47 and just over 5' below full pool. Hoping to get two days of fishing in. Any and all tips on baits, areas to fish, etc. Will be appeciated.

47? I saw 67 Monday

im sure it could be 47 right below a dam but I doubt the lake is below 60

everything I’ve heard is that it’s overrun with spots and they are small aggressive and bite anything

just drive a little further and we can put you in the big brown fish, got a 5+ in tellico sunday…….

murphy is only a short crow flight from Knoxville

You're correct I saw old info on the water temp. Thank you for the info and offer, but I can't venture too far away and can only fish til lunch(may try to squeeze in 3 mornings).

Been a while since I fished it, but exclusively caught spots (and lots of them).

Flukes around docks, jigs and grubs around lay downs, and jerk baits around schools of bluebacks all produced.
