I've been wanting a Steez for a while now and it looks like the only ones available are the new CT and the HLC. I was wanting a non HLC aluminum frame Steez but I can't find one, same with the SV. Makes me wonder if they are coming out with new versions for 2023. Wondering if anyone has any info.

Digitaka has had the limited SV TW 1000 in 8.1 for awhile, I just checked and only the left hand version is available, but that might change.    They just got more Certates in after selling out of the model I wanted a few days earlier.

Are you only wanting USDM?

eta:  it's got a mag frame nvm

Digitaka is unlikely to keep restocking models of several years old; you'll have better luck to find them on Amazon Japan, or other Japan auction sites.

Regarding new Steez, it seems Daiwa has been busy with the Zillion line so far, and the new Steez probably won't come out this year. They have been trying to clear the stock of Steez SV since 2020 though.

I would say OOS is most always about batch manufacturing.

They stock up, stock the next in the manufacturing queue, while the last one sells out until it's back at the head of the manufacturing queue.  You can follow it with any JDM reel model.

That's why I went back and ordered a second Zillion HD right away. Only took a couple casts to realize, I REALLY like this reel, so I figured I better get while the gettin's good.

The Steez ATW is a non magnesium frame reel w/o an HLC spool.  The Daiwa Morethan PETW is also the same reel /w a diff paint job/spool. you can drop any 34mm spool in them if you want an SV spool. Neither are hard to find.

Well, the steez is definitely in need of a revamp.  Daiwa needs to work on slimming down most of their models.  They've made them super low profile, but wide.

They made the Zillions to nice, the law of diminishing returns kicks in quick unless you looking at the BFS models.

The 22 Steez CT SV TW was introduced earlier this year, so there has already  been a new Steez release this year.

I did find some used Steez A's but they were in rough shape. I'll keep searching for 6:1 in right hand and just enjoy my Zillion for now.

JDM Tackle Heaven is showing the Steez A in stock.

If OP doesn't mind used reels, there're some really nice deals on Yahoo Auction Japan site, like this excellent condition Steez A TW for just $185 plus shipping.
