Everyone has their own personal repertoire of confusion! My suggestion to @Capt No Fish is to use his selection for one year. Not just 365 days but use it from pre-spawn to pre-spawn. After a year you should have a pretty good idea how each line reacts under different conditions on your body of water & your style of fishing. 1 1 Quote

So actually trying different stuff, gaining experience, and deciding on how well or not something works? That's way too radical for me, I'll just google it... Quote
Super User GetFishorDieTryin Posted October 26, 2022 Super User Posted October 26, 2022 I like 8-10lb PE for ML-M power spinning gear. A thinner 15 will work I just prefer the thinner dia. I prefer FC for casting gear for the most part. Although I prefer FC, Big Game is a great line for the $. 12BG is just as if not stronger then 15lb Invizx, which is what I like to use for chatterbaits, swim jigs, full size spinnerbaits and t rigs. Unless were talking a heavy outfit like something you would use for heavy flipping you could get away with 15lb BG IMO. Quote
