I feel that Siebert summer craw color imitates either a sunfish or frog when used as swim jig

 

If I’m not mistaken, this is green pumpkin/watermelon red skirt but later I used summer craw with same success. The trailer is also summer craw

They probably just think it looks like something they can eat. I mean what does a chartreuse spinnerbait supposed to represent?

Looks like the ultimate pond/bluegill eater color. I would throw the crap out of that.

LOL. I'll drag a light swim jig with a skirt similar to the one in the OP's pic, and a big action trailer over pads. It's a great alternative to a frog as you can let it fall down into holes.
