I've posted popular YouTube channels because of informational videos and they've disappeared and sometimes they've stayed. Sometimes I've seen members post YouTube channels and they've disappeared and sometimes they've stayed. The rule and what's allowed and by who is confusing to me so I just avoid it.

P. S. - Does anyone know why my posts have lots of white space below the text?

To even it out with the personal info on the left side.

There are certain people and certain sites that aren't welcome here.

Of course, we don't have a list of those...so it's trial and error.

Very true, happens on every hobby forum I've been a member of.   At least they are easy to spot after awhile.

The only way I can make my posts look like yours with the big white space below is to keep hitting enter after the last sentence.

It's weird. And embarrassing. It looks like I'm trying to fill a thread with white static.

Maybe because the response in your profile for "Favorite lake or river" is so long?

Yep, edit your profile and cut that way down and the space goes away.

It didn't work. Sigh. I was sure that was going to solve it. Any other ideas?

Naw I've never noticed, and figured it was just doing that because it's used to posting huge strings of awesome Bass in the Latest Catch thread ?

I have a friend that has a youtube fishing channel that's very informative and would like to give the address.  It's usually on Lake Lanier in GA.  I read the laws but am still not sure.  Thanks

Although I don’t follow a whole lot of people on you tube if it helps I’ll follow your buddy. I’m going to send you a personal message for his channel.

My feelings on this-

The fact that you didn't realize AJ has a YT channel (when you have probably actually watched a few already) says to me that he is doing a very good job of respectfully sharing his content as relevant information. It is always for our benefit, not his (thank you AJ).

The fact that you can find it here, but only if you are actually looking for it says to me that the mods are doing a very good job of monitoring what is and isn't allowed.

Overall, it seems like (and this is just my opinion) there is a bit of gray area here, and some case-by-case decisions have to be made. I feel like the mods are doing a great job allowing content, but not promotions.

Yup, just watch my videos.  She's in most of them - usually catching the biggest fish too!

Does she let you keep your man-card?

My wife has gone with me a few times to watch.  She has no desire to fish.
