Super User A-Jay Posted October 14, 2022 Super User Posted October 14, 2022 We had hail yesterday and frost every morning this week. Hoping to eek out one or two more trips. A-Jay Quote

Super User Jar11591 Posted October 14, 2022 Super User Posted October 14, 2022 It’s on the horizon for me too. Frost almost every morning now but no actual snow yet. But it won’t be long. Thank goodness my snow removal contracts don’t start until December. Quote
Super User TOXIC Posted October 14, 2022 Super User Posted October 14, 2022 The only good thing about winter in Virginia is that I can fill the freezer with crappie until the creek freezes over and if/when that happens, I can go to the hotside of lake Anna and fish all winter in 55-65 degree water. As long as I can get there, I can fish. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted October 14, 2022 Global Moderator Posted October 14, 2022 Water temp 71 at dark in downtown Knoxville last night Quote

Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted October 15, 2022 Global Moderator Posted October 15, 2022 Yup, we got sleet yesterday here. I’m not ready for this. I like the color change on the trees and the cooler temps 50s-60s but fall missed that memo and we’re in the 40s and 30s for overnight lows. Quote

Super User casts_by_fly Posted October 15, 2022 Super User Posted October 15, 2022 I’m not ready for that yet- And then again I am. They dug up our yard today as part of a construction project. I’m going to have a mud pit until April in the dog yard so the faster it freezes over the better. but I’m not ready for snow yet. Quote
Super User AlabamaSpothunter Posted October 15, 2022 Super User Posted October 15, 2022 RED ALERT: Forecasted to go as low as 34 on Tuesday in central AL for a historic low/date......I can't handle those temps, Panhandle.....I'm coming home baby ? Two days before that, the high is going to be 84......this is Alabama weather perfectly summed up Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted October 15, 2022 Super User Posted October 15, 2022 It's been in the low 40's and high 30's a couple of times this past week. We are expected to get the first hard freeze of the season on Tuesday or Wednesday. Quote

Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted October 16, 2022 Global Moderator Posted October 16, 2022 6-12” of snow for Marquette. Ahhh no thank you! The UP is nice, but man that’s brutal for mid October. 1 Quote

Drive up was during a snow-storm, drive back was on icy & snow-packed roads. Quote
