Super User islandbass Posted October 7, 2022 Super User Posted October 7, 2022 I haven’t really kept up with football but before the start of the season all the preseason talk (locally Seattle) was Denver with My buddy Russell was going to be a juggernaut. I just looked at the standings and that’s a bit shocking imho for the broncos. With that said, the season is still early … For all teams. And with that said, my Seahawks don’t look that good ?lol ? Miss the good ‘ol days 1 Quote
BassNJake Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 What a horrible Thursday night game. Looked like a Johnny Manziel VS Ryan Leaf competition 1 8 Quote

Super User Darren. Posted October 8, 2022 Super User Posted October 8, 2022 Yeah, that was a pretty awful game. I'm not sure about Russ, seems like Pete Carroll knew something in letting him go. And Nathaniel Hackett is def on the hotseat. That pic above that's making rounds on Twitter with captions says a lot. Are you the chosen one to lead us to the One Ring after Peyton retired? Uhhh. Doubt it. Quote
Super User Bird Posted October 8, 2022 Super User Posted October 8, 2022 Both teams are actually disappointing. Looks as though Matty ice is washed as well. 1 Quote

I ain't writing back" -- Geno Smith 77% completion rate Not saying I'm a Geno fan (yet), but he's making a good case so far. Geno Smith Wilson? I'd say the Hawks won that trade. 1 Quote
Super User king fisher Posted October 8, 2022 Author Super User Posted October 8, 2022 I know it is a long shot, but it worked for Pete Carol, I thought it might work for me. Would anyone be interested in trading. THIS FOR r 1 2 Quote

Super User Columbia Craw Posted October 8, 2022 Super User Posted October 8, 2022 At Denver, you’re in Mile High Stadium. In Seattle, you’re mile high in the stadium. 1 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 8, 2022 Super User Posted October 8, 2022 The Broncos took a big gamble signing Peyton when his career was in jeopardy. Maybe this bet will payoff, too. 1 Quote

Ryan looks aged. He’s never been very mobile, but now he looks like he has bricks on his feet. Everyone knows they’re trying to run the ball with Taylor too. At least Indy only gave up a third round draft pick to get Matt Ryan. Denver gave up a heck of a lot more to get Russ, and then pay him a boat load. 1 Quote

No dog in the fight, but I'm rooting for Geno. He seems like a good guy and he's stuck it out as a backup waiting for his chance this long. Obviously his teammates really seem to like him. He may never be a Super Bowl winning QB or even a playoff winning QB, but if he can be a solid bridge for Seattle, he'll probably earn himself some money in the process when they draft a new QB because someone will pay him if he keeps playing like he is. 1 Quote

Happybeerbuzz Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 The thin air in Denver has Wilson's deep ball all messed up. Oh, he's also distracted by spending all that guaranteed money. Quote
