Won a Mike Iaconelli signed Revo spinning reel. I don’t typically seek out or care about autographs but now that I have It, would you put It away in the box or just use It like any reel? I’m leaning to just using It. I doubt the fact that he’s signed the box makes It worth more but he is a Classic winner…

I'd use it. It might cause you to act like a fool when you catch a fish though.

Seems like you gotta at least try it - it's in the top 3 spinning reels Abu offers.

You can always have a shadowbox made for it and hang it in the man-cave. I wouldn’t do it, but other than using it I don’t know what else you could do with it.

I figure this doesn't help the value - the value is in the reel itself, but Don's signature could make the difference in someone choosing it over a different example.

Keep it new in box and sell it in 5 years for 1/2 price you paid for it.

Based on my experience around the neighborhood, it's pretty shrill, lot of vocal fry.

If he hits over 70 home runs in a season without using steroids' don't use it.  If he doesn't pick up a bat, and keeps his day job, use the reel.

Use it.  If it weren't for bass resource I wouldn't know who Mike Iaconelli is.    I suspect that most fishermen are like me in that respect.

That was great.  It's his signature reaction.  I'm a fan....

Being signed by Laconelli you 1st verbally abuse it before using it.

I own a bunch of autographed fishing stuff.  My wife allows me to use our extra bedroom to display all my junk.  Books, hats, rods and a reel or two.  The walls are covered with mounted fish, plaques, photos and trophies.  Each one has a special memory of when I acquired it.  None of it has any value to anyone but me.  When I die, I am sure it will all be in the dumpster.  ☺️

He's right..

I'm an active member of this site and I have no idea who he is.. or care..  unless you're a fan use the reel and hopefully you like it and catch some big ones.
