i am pretty sure a bass cant count, not even to four.  but i do know if i saw a chicken or cows with 4 eyes, i am not eating it?

i just bought some 4" SparkShad.  going to rig them on an underspin or top-spin.  all my spins have leadheads with painted eyes.   just go for it?

We have no idea how many eyes are on the cows or chickens we eat. We should peobably be thankful for that. ?

I doubt if it's a big deal to the fish. I'd say try it with both sets of eyes, and if you don't get results you think you should take one set of eyes off. Having two sets of eyes could also make the fish think there is more than one fish there. You never know.

I can not think of a good reason to cut the eyes off. Maybe a bass would think it's one fish chasing another. OOPS I remember years ago I read where a bass has a brain smaller than a BB so thats out. Heck just leave it alone & fish it.

You’re starting to make the engineer jokes too easy

I used to work with professional tennis players, equipment brands, and their OEM manufacturers, in addition to a couple of other engineer and machinist types, got cart blanche to abuse the engineers whenever necessary from the head guy once he figured out I knew what I was talking about. Those were good times.

The fish is not like us. If they saw a minnow with 9 eyes, they would eat it. If they saw an eyeball walking the lake bottom with legs, they would eat it

For the record.  Old Four-Eyes didn’t get bit today.

thru a couple with normal two eyes and got three fish.  Including what I think was my first ever, spinnerbait fish.  Haha.
