The goal is always 8 1/2 hours before I have to get up.  My work schedule is all over the place and I travel a ton on top of that, so it’s hard to have any reasonable schedule. Currently laying in bed in a hotel on the West Coast hours before I have to be up.   It’s always annoying when my first day on a West Coast show is a late start and I can’t use the time difference to my advantage.

Most of the time I go to bed when I’m tired. Summertime I might crash a little bit earlier because I got 0300 wake-up for that morning topwater bite ?

I'm often up WwWWwWaAAAaAYyYyYYyY past my bedtime! Never slept good most of my life, better at staying asleep than falling - most of my life has been run an anywhere between 3-5 hours of sleep a night.

Older now with kids and I find that sleep takes away from productive time learning or doing g something interesting- but also way needed more now, plus I can't fall asleep at 5 in the morning and sleep til 10.

Nowadays I shoot for between 11p-2a to be in bed and up at 6:53a for work. I'm allowed to hit the snooze button twice, but if I have to stop to tie my shoe I'll be late. Get Here Now Hurry Up GIF by BLoafX

Because of my profession I did not have a sleep  schedule . I could not sleep all night . After retiring it took about 6 months to figure out that I'm a morning person . I tend to go to bed between 9 to 10 and rise before the sun .

Asleep sometime between 9 and 10 pm and I wake up at 5:15am. On my days off I’ll stay up until somewhere between 10 pm and midnight  And sleep in until 7 am.
