Usually 9:30-10:30pm and up by 6 to 6:30am.  I try to get 7-8 hours of sleep each night.  Of course my nights are almost always interrupted because I have to use the mens room and the dog has to go out.  If I don't get enough sleep at night, I feel crummy the next day.  I can always tell because I'll wake up with a headache.  Almost like I'm hung over.

I’m really impressed. I’m a young guy and can only manage to get to bed before 8:30 with some melatonin and preparation

10 mg for me and then it still takes an hour or two.

I'm usually down and out by 8:30 or 9 during the work week.  On Saturday I can usually make it until 10 or 10:30.

In bed at 7, up at 2 for work. Off days, it depends on what time I want to go fishing. Sometimes I sleep in clear up until 4 or so.

Bed around 9, asleep by 10,  up at 5:30.   Sometimes I get up earlier on fishing days.

For 4 1/2 years I worked from 3PM until Midnight, 1AM or 1:40 AM.   Back then I was in bed by 2:30 usually up around 10.   I hated those hours.  I'm glad to be back working a "normal" 7 to 5.

I usually pass out watching TV in my recliner anywhere from 8-10:00 and get up between 3:30-5am. The Mrs is a big fan of being woken up by me making coffee at 4:00 on a Saturday!

I’m usually in bed by 8:30 and up by 5:45. I get made fun of for it, but I’ve done the three hours a night of sleep thing before. I’m not game for functioning on little sleep these days.

Pretty rare around our house that someone is up past 10:00, unless it’s a weekend and we’re watching a movie or something like that. We’re up about 6:20 every day, with an earlier wake up in the summer on weekends to fish sometimes, and a “sleep in” on lazy weekend days ( especially in the dead of winter) to maybe 7:30 or so. About 99% of the time, when my head hits the pillow, I’m dead to the world in about 5min. Might get up once t for the bathroom, but right back to sleep till the alarm goes off. In the summer months, I’m pretty much going steady at some sort of project around the house until I can’t see outside, guess that’s why I’m usually asleep so quick. Carrying a bunch of stone around all day at work probably helps with getting a good nights sleep as well I guess?

That's called Crazy Town.

My wife & I both lived there for a while.  Over time, It takes a toll on you and your family. Once it's over, you won't miss it.

No wonder it's so slow in here late at night. I go to bed sometime between midnight and 2:00 am PST and wake up between 5:00 am and 6:00 am. When you see my handle is constantly in the "Who's Online" box, now you know the reason.

If I go to bed earlier, I just wake up earlier and that's not much fun. If I were to sleep six hours, that would be 'sleeping in'. After about four hours, I start flopping around trying to get comfortable for about 20 minutes at a time.

For those having to pee once or more during the night, I found out that tiny bladders are just one possible cause. Another most don't consider is sleep apnea. When you get into REM sleep, your body should be shutting down the peepee train.

Back in the early 2000's I did a sleep study. An AHI of >30 is considered 'severe sleep apnea'. Mine was 88. I've had it since I was a teen. My brothers used to throw their pillows at me to get me to wake up or just roll over.

I was using a CPAP for a while, but had a hard time making it work for me. When it worked for me, it was a feeling when I woke up that I haven't felt since I was very young. I wouldn't describe it as being instantly alert; in fact just the opposite. But after coming out of that fog, I felt very rested. Weird. Eventually, I have learned to do some things that have greatly reduced my symptoms and snoring and I haven't used the CPAP for many years.

i haven't slept more than 5 hours in a row since 2003, except for times when i was sick.

when i was young, i used to LOVE to sleep in on saturdays, especially if i had someone cuddly beside me. i miss that. on the rare occasions i let one of the dogs into my bed on cold nights, i drag them out of bed in the morning, not the other way around.

these days, even if i'm still tired, after 5 hours, i'm awake, like it or not.  it's like a light switch. but i do enjoy a nap when i get home from work, usually an hour. all i have to do is sit down in this chair, and i'm out - period. if i stay moving, i stay awake. sit down, and i'm out.

One of the advantages of being retired is you can sleep all you want.  Unless you are addicted to TV news, your mind is not cluttered with stuff you can't control.  I like to go to bed early and get up early.  I head toward the bed around 9 PM and get up around 6 AM.  My wife reads in bed until 10 PM and gets up at 7 AM.  Sleep is very important to your overall health.  If you aren't getting enough, you should find out why.

You are blessed.    My doc said sleep is the key to health and staying young.  I’m useless without 8.  I am lucky I can darn sleep anywhere.

Usually between 12 and 1. I don’t like it, but that is my body clock.

Nearly without fail, when I make the effort to sleep by 9-10pm (the time my wife sleeps and she always wants the 8 hours) I wind up staring at the ceiling and cannot fall asleep even when I want to. Midnight rolls around and zzzzzzzzzzzz.

I don’t care to watch tv and besides my wife is already sleeping. ?

My ability to sleep depends upon my stress level.  When I'm stressed, my mind daces at night and it can keep me awake most of the night and I'm lucky if I get 2-3 hours of sleep.

But for the most part I fall asleep between 9pm and 11pm and I'm up like clockwork at 5:30 am to pee. I try to sleep in on my days off, but even then I'm awake between 6am and 7 am.

This sounds very much like me. I just went thru a 2 week shutdown at work where I was managing several high dollar projects...the stress level was up there. Even with working 11-13hrs a day I still had many nights where sleep didn't come easy.

That said my normal schedule is bed between 10-1030 and up most mornings by 545. I have my alarm set as backup for 620 but it only goes off a few times a year. In fact I can't really remember the last time it went off.
