I like to throw a 3.3 on a bare, ball jighead. I have one I really like, 1/8oz, looks to be a 1/0 or 2/0 hook, but I can't find them locally anymore. I bought 2 packs of the Missile Nedballs today and, while they seem like they'll work, they're pricey. I'm curious what you all do.

Would the 1/0 Flashy swimmer work well on the 3.3?

Yes. You can shoehorn a 3.3 on to the 3/0 but it's really too small. IMO the 1/0 seems made for the 3.3 and maybe even the 2.8.

I use Dirty Jigs guppy heads which are 1/0.  I also use Gamakatsu round jigheads which are 1/0-2/0 depending on the weight.

Amazon has some decent cheaper bulk options but some of the hooks werent as sharp as I would like it to be.  I had to touch them up.

As stated, yes it will. It's a great combo... but I've found I lose a lot of tails on 3.3" Keitechs. I think it's from perch grabbing them. Doesn't happen when I fish larger (3.8 and above) paddletails.

Another vote for the gamakatsu ball heads. I just use the do it mold for them. I like using a 2/0 hook in a 3/8 and 1/2 oz head size, which most don't seem to sell. Hooks were in the .40ish cent range per

Take a look at these, I really like them for all different size Kietechs

The 2/0 would be perfect for a 3.3, the shank is nice and short.  I like to use these with diesel minnows and trout tricks, the keeper works really well with elaztech.  The cost is the drawback.

I pour my own  Ned heads with a 1/0 hook for smaller Keitechs. Works really well with the 2.8's.
