Most of my spinning bass fishing is finesse that doesn’t require accurate casting like drop shot and slip shot rigs.

More accurate spinning cast are nail weighted worms and Senko’s to shore targets like bushes, stick ups or docks. I would say skipping under docks etc require accurate casts.

My spinning rod casting technique is a snap cast all wrist, except when lobbing a rig, then it’s more like a bait casting motion. I also use my index finger to feather line, manual bail close.
