Something new from an industry leader:

https://americanbaitworks.com/products/baitfuel-gel?_pos=1&_sid=afeedb0d2&_ss=r

I am excited to try this new offering . I have been using MegaStrike and JJ's since they

were first introduced. Now there is something new to enter the mix. I look forward to

giving the Bait Fuel a try and will report back later!

If anyone else has used the attractant, please post your review.

Its really catching on. It even works on cutbait for Catfish

If you leave it soak to long it can make your bait swell some and be a little more brittle and even longer it flakes off like dry skin or something.    Ok the fence about it and haven’t seen any advantage with it compared to without it on a senko .

I had some success with it. But if you soak  a plastic bait that incorporates salt. It will pull the salt out of the bait and it will swell. It took the baits I tried with it about 2 weeks to swell enough make them unusable. I have compared this product to the maxscent baits and I found better success with the Maxscent. The only plastic bait that did not swell up badly with Bait Fuel  was the Culprit worm.

I think they tell you right on the bottle not to add too much or the baits will swell so there is a warning out there. If used properly with just the right amount to marinade your baits in this has worked very well for many people. I have some but haven't used it yet so I can't give a first hand testimonial.

That would require someone to actually read instructions - who does that anymore?

(besides me anyway)

Use too much and soft plastics can become discolored and swell ... According to the Pro's though the positives out weight the negatives : Best way to use Bait Fuel is to remove two to three soft plastic baits out of the original container and place in a 7" zip lock freezer bag . Then squirt a very small amount of bait fuel in the bottom of the bag and swirl / message the soft plastics around with just barely enough bait fuel to evenly coat the soft plastics - if you have a lot of excess bait fuel in the bag after mixing around your soft plastics , then you have used too much ! Think how you apply Mega Strike to soft plastics - using a little is better than using too much . Bass have a very keen sense of smell and taste , using less is more with Bait Fuel .

I got it here I'm sorry I didn't see any warning. If they had stated to do differently I must have missed it. I use the freezer bag method now.

Well, I guess it must have been from one of the YouTube videos I watched from one of the pro's who use the stuff...somewhere somebody said to only use a little to marinate your baits. My bad but honestly if you're not sure how to use something wouldn't you Google it or use some other way to look up instructions instead of blindly plowing ahead not knowing?

That's an offensive statement

Didn't mean it to be offensive. I apologize if it came across that way. I know that I've read up a lot on this product and I know there have been multiple videos and/or articles I've read about how people are using it which explains how much you should use and how long to leave the baits marinating. If somebody is unsure how much of it to use there are resources out there that you can research and find guidance is all I was trying to get across. I guess I should have worded it differently...rereading my post I see where some could perceive it as attacking so I do apologize to anyone who viewed it that way...definitely not my intent!!!

I appreciate your candor and I also hope you are not offended with me. I apologize I did see it negative at the time but not now. It is all good now. Hope you have a great afternoon.

I just picked some up and added plenty (too much) I guess.  My baits changed color dramatically.  I still used them and caught fish.  Not sure if it helped at all.  I am not sure how anyone will know for sure.  I will try again with a different bag of plastics and see.  I would love for it to work.

Absolutely not. Reading the destructions is always the last resort after everything else has failed.

Should It take googling and a manual to add scent to a bait? Lmao. No I wouldn’t buy that bottle and Google how to use It.

I tried the baitfuel infused paca slims, didnt have any luck on it yet but might try again, have pretty decent success with the rage bugs so Im thinking it has something to do with the profile, but ill try it again next time I go it

It shouldn't but apparently some people are using too much and it's ruining their baits so I guess when in doubt look up directions on how to use something :typing4:

This would be my take, not that I've tried it. Using as packaged Rage baits I can go fishing and catch 30 bass in the morning, go out again a couple days later and catch 6. Sometimes days the fish hit and don't take the bait, sometimes they do. If I use attractant do I not have poor days?
