correct me if I am wrong but I have seen posts removed for mentioning a specific brand, will the "pros" be exempt from this censoring?  You make the argument that pros need to be able to promote their sponsors but your faq's  or "rules" seem to contradict that if they are not sponsors of this site? Also, most of you have no idea the intense pressure coming from sponsors to push their products. They essentially threaten to fire you if you don't do more....and more....and more.   And even then, it's never enough.  They always make you feel you fell short and won't get renewed.  And they do it because sponsors know there's no way a pro could survive without sponsors.  Quite frankly, pro tournament circuits wouldn't exist without them too.

 

So for you guys that absolutely hate it when a pro mentions a sponsor, then what are they supposed to do to earn a living?  And how do pro circuits like MLF and B.A.S.S. stay in business without sponsors? Please, do tell. What's the secret to keeping the industry alive without mentioning sponsors?  What would you change, and why would that be a sound business proposition?

So some of you would rather take advice from a faceless, nameless profile that might only fish 15 days a year over a professional who fishes 250 days a year on lakes all over the country because he gets paid to use a certain brand of baits? Makes sense

I've been giving this post some thought recently, and while it would be nice to get a top shelf bass fishing celeb, the amount of knowledge we have here already is likely more than enough for the rest of us.

 

Between @Glenn posts and videos and the posts from all of the other experts on here (there's far too many to list. I started, and once I got to six and realized I was still missing people I said forget it), there's more info on here than a person could absorb in 3 lifetimes. 

 

 So my question to the rest of you is, what info could you get from a pro fisherman that you can't already get here? I mean no disrespect with this question, I'm truly interested in what sorts of info or points of view may be missing here.

Honestly, I didn’t even know he had a section on here. 
When I come on I just go to forum section and don’t really look around at anything else like I used to.

I pop in there every now and then...but mainly I pop into the BR channel on YT, sort by date and see if you and he have put up any new vids...that's where I get most of my Hank quota.
