What’s your top 5 Fall baits

2.  Beetle spins with Bobby Garland baby shads

3.  Devil horse

That's all I'm interested in throwing, other stuff works, but I can't find anything that produces more fish than a variety of crankbaits in the Fall.    I don't use them much after that except some during the summer.

3. Jerkbait

4. Finesse Jig

5. Weightless Fluke

The bottom two I switch more to as November hits and the water cools into the 50s. But I also throw the ned rig year round.

Had a restock of pitboss that came in today, A pond I frequent has a bunch of hydrilla patches along the bank and the bait with a pegged weight gets right into it. Fish love it!

The pit boss is my "standard" bass lure.  They're underrated imo.

• 1/2 oz. jig 
• Flipping Tube 
• Texas Rig - 1/4 oz. slip sinker and either a plastic worm, Gene Larew Salt Craw, or Ultra-Vibe Speed Craw

A punch rig is always ready to go when the opportunity presents itself.

In my area, early fall quickly turns to mid-fall, which even quicker turns to late fall. Right now we’re past early fall. I’ll be throwing less and less (not none) topwater, and more and more jerkbaits and lipless cranks as the year goes on. We have less than 10 weeks before hard water season here.

I literally have 70+ packs of them. Probably my favorite plastic.
