Murfeesboro I think the city/town is called….have never been to TN…so not sure what’s even around there/if I’ll have time to fish , but figure it wouldn’t hurt to bring a rod or two! 1 Quote
VolFan Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 That’s south of Nashville on the plateau. Smallmouth rivers and bass lakes. 1 Quote

Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted September 18, 2022 Global Moderator Posted September 18, 2022 The closest big lakes are Percy priest and old hickory. Normandy, tims ford, and woods reservoir to the south are good smallmouth lakes (I think, Never been myself). Fishing below a dam is always a good option when bank fishing 1 Quote

I live just south of Murfreesboro. I river fish and the Cumberland and Tennessee are terrific but you will need a boat. There are several local lakes as well but I avoid them due to crowds. Are you bank fishing or pulling a boat? Old Hickory, Cordell Hull, Center Hill, Nickajack. Quote
