Taking a trip to TN the 3rd week in October…can anyone recommend some good lures?

What part/lake in Tennessee? Reelfoot and South Holstein fish markedly different.

Murfeesboro I think the city/town is called….have never been to TN…so not sure what’s even around there/if I’ll have time to fish , but figure it wouldn’t hurt to bring a rod or two!

That’s south of Nashville on the plateau. Smallmouth rivers and bass lakes.

also , I’ll likely be fishing from shore assuming I have the time to fish

The closest big lakes are Percy priest and old hickory. Normandy, tims ford, and woods reservoir to the south are good smallmouth lakes (I think, Never been myself). Fishing below a dam is always a good option when bank fishing

I live just south of Murfreesboro. I river fish and the Cumberland and Tennessee are terrific but you will need a boat. There are several local lakes as well but I avoid them due to crowds. Are you bank fishing or pulling a boat?

For bank fishing it as the guys have said.....fish below the dams. Old Hickory, Cordell Hull, Center Hill, Nickajack.
