Hey y’all,

I regret to inform you that it has taken me this long to realize that I spell y’all wrong. Please forgive me, if you can. Every post, for forever, I always said ya’ll. At this point do I just roll with it or do I confess my sins and come clean? I fear I will never be accepted by my Southern brethren. LrgmouthShad signing out for this evening ?

I'm a son of the South, either way is fine by me. I'm not a spelling or grammar nazi. As long as I can understand the point, I'm good.

Y'all have a good'un!

I like the airport flight schedule boards, where half the flights are canceled, and the other half are cancelled (and the other half delayed)...  :)

All youins need ta settle down. Quit pitchin' fits.

Y'all fixin' to feesh.  Have a pahp. A what? Oh, a soda!

Born in the south, lived in Western NY where I developed

an uncontrollable tick when people say "you wanna pahp?"

at back yard BBQs. LOL. Soda. Not the way they say it

in Canada and Minnesota... just a soda.

When I lived in TX, it was a freakin' coke. "Ok honey, what

kind?" Huh?! Dr. P, Sprite, .... all "coke". ?

does that go with a hogie, sub, or grinder? In the City ( if you have to ask) it's a hero and a soda...

Here in the Mid South it's mostly "Sub" and Coke (all soft drinks).

When I lived in Kansas City and later, Denver, the sandwich was a Hogie

and the drink was "pop".

In NW Ohio, it’s fish sandwich and a beer

Now we're talkin'!

At least the beer part. I'd take a nice roast beef

sammy.
