So for my fishing budget, higher price boxes don’t generally fit the budget, but I did get 3 of the 4 on sale and the 1.38” tall 3700 terminal box was 29.99 at fleet farm half of the BPS price. TW has their Edge 3700 terminal more than double the price, but it is 1.5” tall, so guessing it might be different.

The 3600 works great as my spinnerbait parts box, 3700 I can adjust the dividers properly and carry a lot of bass jigs and other terminal tackle, and the terminal box will carry just that all very nicely. The there is the jig box, this is my overflow spin box, that goes in my truck on vacations, two full blade Krates wasn’t enough spinnerbaits. It just didn’t work for me as a jig box, nice way to hold them, but not the most efficient use of space. fishing out of a small boat I try to be as careful about how much I carry.

I see myself buying one more 3700 box, maybe a deep one, as I buy more spinnerbait components, time will tell there. Wanted a flex box so I could put the frames in to, but saw the price and decided against it.  My crank bait and plastics are stored the way I want them so no need to change there. The double decker Plano 4700 box has been my go to plastics box for years.

Great boxes, just difficult to justify in most cases for me. What are other’s thoughts?

I received a couple Edge boxes for Fishmas last year.

I tried...I really did...but I didn't like them. Can't put my finger on one specific thing, but they're sitting on a shelf unused after several attempts to organize tackle in them.

I'm sticking with my ProLatch....

Great product and good value!

Great product, and these fit the need. 60 for the terminal box no way, the 30 I paid yes good value.

The box pictured below, great deal, I have like 25 of them and I hope they never stop making that box. I love Plano boxes, I just don't have the extra cash to drop on the high end boxes except for specific needs. It seems the more I make, the more the wife shrinks the budget;) Not a complaint just reality.

Like I said I do really like the ones I have, they fit the need perfectly.

That’s the exact box I use for my Senkos.  It’s amazing how many you can load that box with.  I am still looking for a terminal tackle box that doesn’t split open, break latches or mix n’ match all of my weights, hooks, etc.

I bought two edge boxes when they first came out. I tried and tried to like them. I ditched them for these boxes: https://buzbe.com/

The pricing is similar and the Buzbe boxes seem to be better built, and fully customizable. I use one for terminal tackle and nothing gets mixed up!

Thier jig/chatterbait box was a must for me. I thought about the terminal box but I'd need two of them.

I do like my edge boxes. I have a 3700 deep that holds…. Everything. Amazing amount of space. It holds various things for me in the kayak. Also have two of their spinnerbait boxes that I use to hold my spinnerbaits and buzzbaits and they keep rust out very well. Unfortunately now I’m running into a situation where I may soon require a third or another means of organization. I always bring one of my spinnerbait boxes with go-tos when I kayak fish

I am sure there are ways for me to manufacture my own boxes even with a lining to use but at the moment I am not that saavy.

I have three of the standard 3600 boxes that I use for terminal tackle. Love 'em. Everything stays where is supposed to, even small hooks. Worth every penny for terminal, wouldn't buy them for larger baits personally.

Don't know,.. Can't justify the price!

I thought about getting the jig box, but went with the cheap spinnerbait box instead. It has three rows and holds jigs and bladed jigs great. One row is jigs, next row is swim jigs and last row is bladed jigs.

For terminal, I bought cheaper "Terminal Tackle" boxes with 4 red latches that I think were made by Flambeau or some other company. They have molded in markings for weight and hook sizes. I've got two of them. One holds offset worm hooks in sizes 1/0. - 6\0, wacky hooks and lead bullet weights. The other holds EWG hooks of each size and tungsten weights. Plenty of room for other terminal tackle as well.

How many spinnerbaits do you carry? For 2-3 hour trips I carry one or two of these. I do drill holes in them to let some airflow through them, and they work great for me and are small and easily stashed anywhere. I do still let wet lures air dry before reboxing them. For other baits I use one 3700 hydro flow box. Half for cranks and other half for plastics. Yes I am super careful grabbing the hydro flow box from under the seat. I pack really light.

I used to bring a whole box full. My thought process was "It ain't taking up more space in the kayak for me to fill this box up, so why not bring more spinnerbaits?" I actually stopped doing that a little bit before this hiatus. I realized that I'd still be sorting through spinnerbaits to find the 5-6 that I might want, so it was counterproductive for me to carry a lot. I felt most comfortable keeping about that 5-6 for shallow water and another 5-6 or so for fishing deep if I was on a large lake. That spinnerbait box can hold a lot. Like maybe 40-50. But when I felt most productive was when I carried 12ish. But, I also use it for carrying buzzbaits as I mentioned so I could fit in another 4ish buzzbaits if I want. I also carried a blade box. I'm thinking I'm going to change that too and just keep several blades I might want to change out. No need to go crazy and carry a bunch of large colorados or oklahomas if that ain't what I'm going to be using.

With the heads I bought recently I'm hoping to build the spinnerbaits I want, my way.

Building spinnerbaits is addicting especially when they out perform my best store bought baits. All I have been doing is using less common to non existent combos of blades to give a different look and vibration from what everyone throws.

I am hoping the Stanley spins kick butt this fall, the tapered were is very interesting.

I love the bladed jig box. Mine is completely full plus a few extras rolling around in there.

Once I got over my issues with locking and unlocking, the boxes grew on me.  I really like the terminal and jib boxes.  For hard baits, I'm still using the Hydro-flo vented boxes.

Mostly I buy them on amazon, as an example the jig box is $25 right now. Even on sale elsewhere they always seem to be less expensive on amazon.

Jig Box - A+ would buy again, but don't carry on the water. More for storage. Have two now.

Edge 3700 regular - A+ for keitechs - would buy again. I sure do hate the keitech packaging.

Edge Flex 3600- A+ they are great for getting more than six packs of craws/bugs/etc into a little package. Also use for swimjigs and chatterbaits as it holds enough.

Edge 3700 thin - A -squarebills and flatsides,  I like the thin CDS boxes better and will just use those going forward. More of a personal preference thing; I don't think I get much from the great seal or the other features

Edge 3700 deep - B- big swimbaits - does the job, I have it, but it isn't optimal

Edge flex 3700 - B - they are fine I just haven't found a good use for them

Tall Spinnerbait box - D - it's huge, but doesn't hold that much. The flambeaus are better, or just using a CD wallet.

Others, while we are at it:

Hydroflow 3700 gives me a place to put lures I take off without them being scattered in the boat. Makes the end of the day much better.

A-rig box - maybe the best $7.50 I've spent on a box. The inserts are just right.

Complaints: 1) the feet on them make them hard to get in and out of the tackle bag, enough that I've considered filing them off 2) I'd prefer an opaque lid - they get left in the sun for a while sometimes and I don't think it is good for the lures.

For terminal I never liked the organization of the plano terminal boxes; I can get more in a 3600 bass mafia ice box as it has like 48 compartments at max. I just don't really care if the weights rattle around a little in the tiny compartment. Sealed up tight, and even itty bitty stuff doesn't drift between compartments. $18.00

Something like this? I’ve been extremely happy with this box. It’s pretty heavy duty. It’s Academy Sports terminal box. Everything stays exactly where it’s supposed to, and has a rubber seal around the lid to keep moisture out.

I am curious what issues you had with locking them in particular. I still at times will have one side not fully latch while the other side is perfectly latched, mostly if I try to close it with one hand. Now I close them with both hands on the ends and 90% of the time it seals up fine.

Locking and unlocking wasn't intuitive for me.  I actually got some coaching from Glenn on how to do it.  It seemed like it worked backwards of what I expected.  It isn't an issue anymore, one hand operation now.

Walmart too, I’ve seen them randomly super cheap on Walmarts website.
