Lynn has trained professionals taking care of her.  You've got to take care of yourself.

I don't recall, is this your first time with Covid?   I had it last November for the first time.   Ironically Mrs B, living in the same house, and sleeping in the same bed didn't get it, or at least any symptoms.   We done nothing to isolate her from me, as we had been together a bunch after I had symptoms but before my test.   It took me a couple months to get my stamina/wind back.  I still have a coughing fit occasionally.  My Dr said the cough could last up to a year.

2nd time for me with Covid.

No cough for me this time - sore throat, super fatigued and the mother of all headaches that was relentless for 10 straight days.

I'm on the back end now I think.  Only dealing with the fatigue now.

Which is a challenge because otherwise I feel OK.

Just run out of gas WAY sooner than I'd like.

The headaches were by far the worst symptom when I had it too. They just pulsate for hours on end.

I am keeping both of you in my thoughts.

Sudden and drastic down grade this morning.

Liver function went in the tank.

Renal failure.

Transferred to ICU.

Started dialysis.

I am numb.

Hoping everything stabilizes quickly and starts heading back in the other direction - and that you’ll be able to get down there soon yourself. Keeping you both in our thoughts.

I’m at a loss for words Andy. I’m sorry you two are going through this and that you can’t be with Lynn. That has to be the worst thing.

Lynn is 50.

I'll be 65 in August.

I love you both Andy and I’m praying for you both.

Thank you my friend.

Spoke to Lynn and her Nurse on the phone earlier today.

They are taking great care of her and there's been some improvement.

It's small and coming on slowly but that's how this deal works

and I'll take anything good at this point.

I didn't cry today.

Awe sheesh Andy, I feel helpless I can't help in any way. I can only give my hopes and prayers at this point. Glad you have a glimmer of hope with the improvements but know that my fingers are crossed for you folks.

🤞

update ~ 04 July

Thankfully and somewhat miraculously Lynn is improving a little each day.

She was able to transition to solid food which she tolerated OK.

Accordingly she has been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit and into a  single spacious regular room.   Still being treated for several rather serious deals but being out of the ICU should allow her to get more sleep and hopefully boost her healing process.

Stay Safe
