Super User slonezp Posted April 10, 2023 Super User Posted April 10, 2023 @A-Jaypretty sure you don't care much for me or my antics. I truly feel for everything going on between you and Lynn. You're straight up. You may not like me and I may not like you, don't know , never met you.... but you're straight up and it's commendable. What I say, I mean. Take it how you want it. I'm a.....forgot how to use English but I'm not an ass. Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted July 7, 2023 Author Super User Posted July 7, 2023 Lynn spent the day at the Oncology Infusion center today as she received Part B of her scheduled Chemo. Part A was pumped in the week before last. Prior to Covid, I was with her every minute of all of these treatments, but now I'm 'not allowed' in the treatment room. Hate That. The meds seems to help her in the long run, but she earns it. These deals always start early morning and last at least through mid afternoon, and that's if everything goes well. The effects will put her down pretty hard for a few days, makes for a very quite house. Our dogs will no doubt be glued to her pretty much the whole time. Some how they just know. A-Jay 10 Quote
VolFan Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 They just know. And they’re there, no matter what. Reminds me of someone. I hope she can rest and feel better. 1 1 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted August 3, 2023 Author Super User Posted August 3, 2023 After several weeks of tough sledding and while battling a couple of very stubborn infections, my wife was admitted to the hospital again today. Past 2 week she’s been seen by a couple of different specialists and despite their & her best efforts, hospitalization is required. Blood work is scary bad even for Lynn, so initial expectations are that this is probably going to be a bit of an extended stay. For reference 7-14 days is her usual admittance duration. This one might double that depending on how long it takes them to find a treatment she responds to and of course, how she actually responds to it. Either way Lynn’s in a good bit of pain so the sooner the better. Besides being deeply depressing, travel/visits include a 3 hour round trip. #quietrides My son & daughter in law were scheduled to visit us for the first time in 3 years next week. Just made that call; Cancelled. The hits just keep on coming. Always hope for good Health. A-Jay 15 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted August 4, 2023 Super User Posted August 4, 2023 I don't know what I would do without Michelle's health. It's always me that gets sick, but NOTHING LIKE THIS. I don't think I've ever spoken to you in person but I feel like you're a brother. Much love, respect, and hope from my family to yours. 1 1 Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted August 4, 2023 Author Super User Posted August 4, 2023 Thank you all for the kind words and the support. It means a lot. A good White Blood Cell level is usually between 4 and 10.5 x10E3/uL. Lynn's has been low for years in the 2-3 x10E3/uL range. Part of her condition. This morning it was 0.76 x10E3/uL. Hoping the antibiotic cocktail turns this around soon. Both my dogs slept in her spot all night. A-Jay 1 Quote
