X Bites.

I wish but I fish on a budget. Mostly own St Croix Bass x rods. I have a really nice G Loomis crankbait rod that was gifted to me but other than that, $100-$120 rods.

Welcome to BR!

Bass Patrol makes football jigs designed to be cast horizontal and retrieved along the bottom structure.

Any jig and worm rod Medium Heavy power fast or extra fast action rated for 1/4 to 1 oz will work.

This week is Labor Day sakes a good time to shop.

Dobyns Maverick MK704C or Fury FR704C rods is a good choices.

I like rods in the 7’2” - 7’3”range, Nice forgiving tip but a powerful butt.

SC Victory “The Marshall” is a bit over your budget, you could dig around for a used one or I’ve seen some pretty sick deals on SC’s lately.

I’ve seen great reviews of the new Daiwa Tatula XTs. That’s in that range. That’s probably where I’d look.
