CRAZY TALK!!  this trailer is supposedly gonna follow you around using WIFI.  hahah..

you know when your chain breaks and your trailer ball fails, and you realize that idiot passing you on the shoulder to your right - IS YOUR TRAILER!!!??

the idea is that the consumer can tow things around with tiny vehicles like a Prius.  no more rolling coal at spandex cyclist.

i cant find the article now..hmm..

i did fish a golf course.  i saw a golfer walking the course and his golf bag followed him around like a puppy.  it was like ghost was pushing it around.

Gee how efficient, a trailer with a motor that needs fuel! And a battery, and the ability to steer, and.....that's @#$&% stupid. It's practically required to be another vehicle. And somewhat autonomou$$$$$$.

I was hiking a local trail that passes a golf course a few weeks ago (one of my regular routes).

Saw a guy with one of those golf bag carts that follow you. He heard me laughing at him from up on the hill. I'm gonna bring an air horn one day. Ya ya I know.

Those carts have been around for a long time actually but I couldn't resist.

Random trivia: Most common sound I hear when I hike by the golf course is

"tink" then "$%^#$^&!!!!"

Can they make it work in reverse? Can I back my boat trailer into the water and never get me or my truck tires wet? And then pull the trailer out and park it?

And then a hacker pulls up next to you on the road, and your boat drives off with them.

Is this a real thing?

You can sell anything to almost anyone in America. Reminds me of the phrase “build a better mouse trap” yet no one ever has. Don’t fix what’s not broke, wooden snap trap has been the champion for over a century

C'mon guys.  It has nothing to do with an actual trailer, just proof of concept engineering stuff.  They're having a second vehicle autonomously follow a driven vehicle.

Build a better mousetrap??? Build a better bait and the sheep(mice) will come a flocking! Someone posted a comment here years ago that sticks in my mind. Might have been @Redlinerobert

but I could be wrong.
