I mostly played space sims so yep, the Joysticks are a set of Virpil Alphas on custom built mounts. But enough of that. I caught my first bass in years today

I can’t say that I am familiar with chair brands.

 

I used to game some, and then I sold my soul to the fishing monkey. No room for gaming anymore. Although I do play chess pretty frequently nowadays, specially cuz I can’t (shouldnt?) fish at the moment. Have an injury that I’m still trying to heal.

I haven't lite off my rig in months so yes definitely got the fishing monkey. I am trying to recondition Vintage reels, and design my own fishing lures. I am an engineer IRL but I just don't have assembly skills ? . I do hope you recover quickly though so you can get back at it before the weather goes bad.

I had been throwing everything in the tackle bag, and had a hunch so I took a white jig trailer and stick rigged it. Second cast I got a small bass. The water wasn't very clear and I needed something light, the trailer was the only light colored plastic I had with me. Crazy but hey it worked

It sounds like you already know a lot, at least compared to me. I don't know what stick rigging is. I do a lot of googling as I read this site, so now I'm off to google stick rigging!

At least too me, A stick rig is sticking a round kind of twisted hook into the meaty part of a plastic worm, and slow jigging it up then fall on the retrieve.  Pre dates Texas rig (I think), it's an old fashioned way to fish soft plastics

You misunderstand. My Tetris has most of its buttons still. Plus, as recently as 1989, it sorta worked.

I played one video game in my life and that was so addictive that I'd be up until four in the morning, my head buzzing with fatigue, but I couldn't stop. So, when I finally stopped playing that game, I never started another. However, I admire your gaming station. Captain Kirk would too. 

 

I'm glad you're counter-balancing your life with fishing, which is both calming and exciting.

I feel you on that. Definitely enjoying the fishing. As far as the rig goes I will probably game again but right now I just don't want to
