I was fishing a Ned on a Slider Head yesterday, with a lot of success.

It needs one of those Japanese names...Like Ned Inky...(Slider has a Inky Dink).

I have done that as well. The 2/0 light wire spider head works great. I went with calling it the sled rig marrying the two old school finesse tactics lol. The funny thing is I never tried it when fishing reeds on a lake, just used it on the river and the ultra weedy lake near home.

on the list to try for next vacation. As a side note I am surprised more folks don’t use slider heads. Once I started to I haven’t looked back.

They're killer on a mojo rig too.

I used to tear em up with a green pumpkin senko on an otherwise classic Carolina rig    My local lake is too weedy for Carolina rigs so I fish senkos (no knock-off’s) weightless and weedless

Btw think of it as a baitfish lure rather than a worm  it may surprise you ?
