DN3 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Looking at the St Croix Legend Tournament Bass and the ALX Enox for a new do it all spinning rod? Anyone have experience with both? Thoughts on either one? I have heard reports of st croix’s quality not being what it used to be (though I’m still trying to research and validate the stuff I’ve seen) Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted August 15, 2022 Super User Posted August 15, 2022 Don't know about the ALX but the St. Croix is a nice rod.there warranty used to be lifetime but now it's 15 years. 2 Quote
Revival Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 I’m a ALX guy but don’t have any Enox models yet. I have a bunch of Zolos and a few IKOs. Love them all and the owner Alex is always ready to answer any question you may have. I have asked him tons of questions and he has answered every single one. ALX is a smaller company and always get overlooked imo. They make awesome rods. Quote
padon Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 cant help you with the alx but i have a legend tournament 7 ft medium. nice rod. good sensitivity, good feel. to me it has a versitile action. fairly light tip that will cast lighter baits but gets into a stout back bone. i really like mine for flukes senkos neko rig.
