Well friends, took a trip to academy this evening and my son saw a fury and told me how he hates green on a fishing rod ?‍♂️

So I’ll for sure be checking some of the other options lol

I agree with this. I have one of the original 7'2" MH Reg Tatula rods and it is an awesome, versatile rod. I use it for spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, Dark Sleepers/Sleeper Gills and 5"-6" paddletail swimbaits but you could definitely throw t-rigs, crankbaits, heavier top waters and who knows what else. One of my favorite rods.

Is It the Randy Howell one?

I recently picked up a Daiwa Rebellion 6'10 MH-R that I am really liking. The action of the rod is nice and versatile. I got mine in the two piece variant. Great rod so far.

No it's one of the original Tatula rods, black with gold accents and eva grips. They haven't made them for a pretty long time.

Well dang. Sounded like the way to go. Probably just get the Sierra 734c. Being familiar with dobyns plus the discount makes them hard to beat.
It’s showing out of stock on the Dobyns website though. I’ll have to drive over to dobyns to get one, so hope it’s in stock before September 21.

TW still has the Abu Fantasistas on sale and ALF has a few Legend Tournaments and Expride As on sale right now.

Yeah those Fantasista rods are $300 rods for $160.  Helluva deal.  Don't think anyone would be foolish enough to claim that the Fantasista line isn't an excellent rod.

The sensitivity is only a tad bit less than the Zenon series.

Well... It happened again... Sitt'n here reading through this thread, when out of nowhere, the monkey jumped on by back, beat me senseless, dragged me to the auction site, and made me order an Ark Essence 7'4" MH R. Mostly for throwing paddletails. Sigh... It never ends.
