Lightweight trailer with a max payload of like 500lbs or so. Perfect set up for this but I have been thinking of going truck next and getting rid of the trailer. It is pretty convenient though. 4 Quote

Way north bass guy Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 2019 Ram 1500 4x4. It replaced the green 2012 on the left. Both are/were great trucks , this one is so much nicer as far as ride and interior features go. Hauls the boat around, and a pile of tools and often a few tons of stone for work( with a trailer of course). 4 Quote

You roll the windows down with a crank handle, it totally blows my buddies kids minds to ride in there and crank the window handle. They’ve never seen one It also has manual locks and manual transmission, I hate technology in a vehicle 4 Quote

schplurg Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 I loved my 2000 Tacoma (2x). It was tough for sure. I think anything Toyota is usually a good choice. I could have bought this Toyota with 120K miles, or a Ford Ranger with 60K miles for the same price. Glad I chose the Toyota. Now it's the minivan (Toyota) and I like it even more. It's more practical for me, way better mileage, cheaper, better ride, more secure, and it's my RV sometimes. I don't have the all wheel drive though. And cops ignore me. And I don't beat it up like I did the truck. Great truck though man! If I was gonna buy one I'd get a Tacoma Quote

I haven’t adjusted mine in a couple years that I can recall, been lucky I guess. I have folded them in with a mailbox before, that was a little shocking. I’ve also got a single cab, you rarely see those anymore. A back seat would just be full of junk for me, I don’t have kids The one thing I do like about power windows (on my work truck) is being able to roll the passenger side window down without having to lay across the cab. People always come up to my passenger window wanting to chat and it throws them off when I lay down to reach the crank handle in my personal truck haha Quote
DaubsNU1 Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 The plan was to sell my 2004 Chevy 2500HD 4x4 and my 2014 Accord, and have just one vehicle to drive. I had owned both since new...the HD had the 8.1/496 Big Block...great truck...sold with 136k on the clock. The Accord had just under 88k. Upgraded to this 2019 2500HD Duramax. Great truck! Wife was none-to-happy...but then figured we could get a 5th wheel, because this truck would have no problems towing : ) She has since changed her mind...and has nicknamed my truck, "Precious" (Lord of the Rings reference...) Was piling on the miles as my daily driver...wife actually suggested I get another car to daily drive. My 30 mile on-way commute is done driving the 2005 Accord sedan. It knocks down 30 MPG all day long. The truck has 33k...the Accord now has 99k. 25 minutes ago, LonnieP said: 2004 Silverado Love them 2004's....
