Ohioguy25 Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 I have a $50 a month TackleWarehouse habit, sometimes $75-100. 2 Quote
Super User Darth-Baiter Posted August 9, 2022 Super User Posted August 9, 2022 Why? what have you heard?!! if you heard it's more than $100, it's all lies. lies!! 4 7 Quote
Super User T-Billy Posted August 9, 2022 Super User Posted August 9, 2022 I've averaged a rod a month this past year. A reel every other, plus, line, baits, teminal tackle. It's shameful really. Oh, and then there's that new boat.... 6 Quote
mrpao Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 I must confess, i have an addiction to buying fishing gear. It varies from month to month. Depends on the sales going on or if i find a good deal on something my brain thinks i need. Its a bad habit. 5 Quote
Super User WRB Posted August 9, 2022 Super User Posted August 9, 2022 Zip using up what still have. Tom 10 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted August 9, 2022 Super User Posted August 9, 2022 In the recent past, I've been Much Better than I used to be. But this week I sort of regressed a bit. Ordered a new reel as well as an embarrassingly ridiculous number of Jackhammers. In my own defense, the jackhammers were on wicked sale and @Glenn sent me a new rod. So I'm pretty sure it's mostly his fault. ? A-Jay 10 2 Quote

I'm near the end of my upgrade so soon the wallet will cool off and I plan to set a $100 a month budget after that. 3 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted August 10, 2022 Super User Posted August 10, 2022 I only buy to replace stuff, this month it was jigs last month it was nothing, month before that, nothing, month before that some tying stuff. 3 Quote
Super User AlabamaSpothunter Posted August 10, 2022 Super User Posted August 10, 2022 Depends.....if I just caught a nice Bass, usually within 24hrs I'm buying copious amounts on un needed tackle based on the tackle that caught said nice Bass You could graph my spending easily, the more fish I catch, the more money I spend on fishing gear. Stupid but true haha 8 Quote
Skunkmaster-k Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 20$ a week. Unless I find a good deal. I splurged this week and bought a used canoe for 50$. Cha-Ching ! 3 Quote
Super User Spankey Posted August 10, 2022 Super User Posted August 10, 2022 Not much during the season. I use the winter to replenish items and if I’m thinking about trying something new or new to me I pick it up over the winter. But not to say that I’ve never had some type of soft plastic baits that I had to order that I got low on in season. 1 Quote
Super User ATA Posted August 10, 2022 Super User Posted August 10, 2022 SO MUCH, even in summer I don't do that much bass fishing but saltwater tackles are still out there ? 1 Quote
Super User gim Posted August 10, 2022 Super User Posted August 10, 2022 I haven’t bought any tackle in over a year. I bought so much the following winter after the surge emptied shelves initially after the pandemic started, that I probably went overboard. I was honestly worried that the shortage would return - which it obviously has not. Bit of a panic buying surge. 1 Quote
padon Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 too much. ive actually been pretty good lately , trying to save money for new lithium batteries. but the urge is building. i want a new expride b 76 medium heavy. also some jigs and plastics. the more i get called in for work the more i spend. take out my frustration at tackle warehouse. Deephaven Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 About $250 so far this year...considering I needed nothing I will blame the site. 1 1 Quote
bigspirit Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Ha, I’m actually positive the last couple of months. Have settled into a niche since spring and have stuck with it and plan to do so going forward so I’ve sold off some of the clutter that was in the garage and boat. Stuff such as baits that I haven’t used and probably won’t. Do have some plans for this fall though that will tip the scale the other way. Quote
Super User BrianMDTX Posted August 10, 2022 Super User Posted August 10, 2022 It comes and goes in waves. I haven’t bought any tackle in quite some time (sorry BM), but yesterday I placed an order with TW. I finally bought some black, white and Junebug Senkos, and some new 3/0 EWG hooks. I wanted to try some new colors. 2 Quote

Super User GreenPig Posted August 10, 2022 Super User Posted August 10, 2022 My tackle spending comes in waves, sometimes a Tsunami. Usually between $1 and $7K, but I block that kinda stuff out of my memory cause it's not really beneficial. 1 Quote
