Blanks

Can someone recommend a good Medium Heavy Moderate or Moderate Fast blank? I’d prefer graphite, I think. I want to make a good chatterbait rod.

BC or spin?  Budget?  Rainshadow Revelations and American Tackle Bushidos are very nice mid-priced graphite blanks.  If budget is not a big issue, then I prefer Point Blanks, which I think are the best premium blanks available.  When I want to build the best, that is what I get.  They are highly sensitive, light for their power, and not fragile.  They come in various lengths and powers, and CCS numbers are provided for accurate power and action objective descriptions.  Unlike many other brands whose descriptions are like a crap shoot.

try a CRB blank from Mudhole......plenty of options.

Thank you, I have a rod built on a blank from mudhole. Great rod. 
 

Full disclosure. My dad makes the rods, he’s been doing it longer than I’ve been alive (I’m 32). He just asked me if I want him to build me another rod, can’t say no. One of these days I’ll have enough time for him to teach me

I'm not a fan of the CRB blanks, not even for moving baits. Rainshadow makes great blanks, but for moderate-fast I absolutely love the Bushido CB rods.

Recently did a Matrix popping blank and it is very nice as well. I haven’t tried any Bushido’s yet.
