DinkDreams Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Anyone who has paid the subscription for BassU TV, do you think it is worth it? I’d imagine seminars from top pros would be incredibly beneficial for learning, but wanted some opinions from others before I take the plunge. thanks! Quote
BayouSlide Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Worth it for a while to research topics of interest, but I doubt I'll keep it beyond a year. 2 Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted July 26, 2022 Super User Posted July 26, 2022 Just now, BayouSlide said: Worth it for a while to research topics of interest, but I doubt I'd keep it beyond a year. I had a 90-day free trial - canceled before I had to make a payment. Interesting, but you can get all that info for free elsewhere if you're patient and search correctly. 1 Quote
Super User Tennessee Boy Posted July 26, 2022 Super User Posted July 26, 2022 I have it. You can freeze the subscription and mine stays frozen most of the time. There’s some good stuff on there. Quote

There’s a wealth of knowledge on there, but really nothing you can’t find on YouTube or… wait for it… right here! ? Quote
garroyo130 Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Got the free trial and still didn't feel it was worth it. Jk jk a couple of videos were good but most of it is content you can find elsewhere. Quote
Kyhokie Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 I really like it. It’s not any more than Netflix or prime so I think it’s a deal. I try and watch 2 vids per week to get my moneys worth. It’s similar to a podcast imho. YMMV Quote
txchaser Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 I like it a lot. In particular because they will go deep on a topic. And they are long enough to fire up for a drive. I mostly listen podcast-style on the way to/from fishing - there's not much to see on the screen in most cases. And most of the podcasts besides "Sitting Dockside" are basically talk shows with very little actual content. Quote
